Ah. The thing that makes people the most uncomfortable during the whole process, the cost. But, it doesn’t have to be awkward, and here’s why:
Sure, you could save some cash and pay a starting photographer only $500 for their time, but are they going to be insured and reliable? Probably not.
Do they have experience handing crazy and hectic wedding days and know how to work around unforeseen circumstances? Probably not.
Will they show the same passion and commitment to their clients like I do? Probably not.
I was the “starting photographer” at one point in my life so I’ve learned from my mistakes, and grew from them so I can serve you now!
So, when you’re booking with me, you’re guaranteed that I have insurance (because most venues nowadays require that) and you’re guaranteed that I will provide the best quality service to you so you will have those moments captured for a lifetime. I don’t just show up on your wedding day and take pictures.
I build a relationship with you and your family & friends and actually get to know you! We’ll grab coffee together, hangout out at the beach or in the mountains, or go on road trips together if you’re into that kind of thing!
I value human interaction over everything else, and I know that it will me more than just a transactional relationship.
How long does it take to get our pictures back?
It takes me about 4-8 weeks to deliver the full gallery. I send plenty of previews as I edit them though!
How far in advance should we book our date?
The sooner the better. I would recommend booking once you have your wedding date locked in to ensure I am not already booked!
How do we reserve our date?
Simple, all I need is 1/3 of the balance paid up-front as a retainer. After that is paid and the wedding contract is signed, you are officially booked! The next payment of 1/3 of the balance is due 90 days before the wedding date, and the final 1/3 is due 14 days prior to your wedding date.
Do you travel?
HECK. YES. My passport is ready to go, and I’m ready to go, and I’m down to hop on a plane whenever. Travel fees vary based on location distance from Santa Barbara, CA.
*I do not charge travel fees within if you’re in California, or any surrounding states such as Oregon, Washington, Arizona, etc.*
How many photos can we expect back?
This is something you shouldn’t get caught up on. I believe in quality over quantity. On an average 8 hour wedding day, I deliver 300+ photos.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yup! Most venues require proof of insurance, so don’t worry I gotchu!
